Your hex framework looks extremely good, however, I do not have Unity Pro. Will you release a version of your code that works on the free version of Unity? Thanks.

At the moment we are using "Render to texture" for our framework so it doesn't work on unity free. We have started work on Honey 2 which is provided as a package together with Honey 1, although its far from finished (fully featured) it do some really good job imitating all core features with little-to-none memory footprint and no render to texture required. So if you are an explorer type you may buy honey and try to take leverage of the Honey 2 side. Just be aware that we do not have time-frame of when /if that would be finished to satisfactionary level. As many features still need to be invented in new system (Eg rivers) and you cant put a time-frame on when you will invent something.

Thanks for your reply. I believe I may risk buying it and taking a look at Honey 2. I am not too worried about rivers; I mainly want a means of improving the appearance of my hex-based map, which uses simple textures that are not blended at all! I may also have to look into Unity Pro at some time. Thanks...
