I've read most of the posts on the forum and I'm still just a bit unsure of the answer. I love what your program does and plan to use a PC for all my work. However, I am aiming at building an iOS app. When you say it won't run on OS systems, are we talking for the design or the running of the final app?
Thank you

Honey is not designed for mobiles, we were using it a lot in "dx9" mode and our game (Thea: The Awakening)endup using only this mode (not dx11) It was not designed for OS nor Linux, but our game have sold ~1000 copies to those platforms as it worked there with some adjustments. So to sumarise: if you are good coder, you will be able to make it run on most platforms with fairly small changes, but it is not something we directly support and would do for you directly. Many honey users endup releasing mobile games and we have ourselves managed to run Honey on android within one evening. On the side note, and to be fair, I have to say that we are super busy recently and chances for being able to allocate ANY time in the near future for this product are very small small, therefore you can buy honey as is, and do magic with it, or try your luck with other solutions which have better support Cheers!

I've likewise been able to get it working on a Linux build, though I am not quite satisfied with my adjustments there and they ended up being quite game-specific.
The Honey framework is, in general, excellent, but unfortunately it's just like most frameworks that get published on the Asset Store in that it doesn't receive any worthwhile updates. I bought in the spring of 2015, and nothing has really changed in the 2 years, despite the developers saying that features from Thea would be brought into the framework. There was talk of Honey2, but nothing.
But if you, doc, haven't yet bought this, I still strongly recommend you do. HoneyHex is very good at what it does.
