Hey I was wonder how you to get rid of the scripts that have already been implemented into the thing like spawn character and stuff like that. I was also wondering how can you make a map that won't go away every time you exit out of the play so that you do not have to load, or generate a new map every time.

Hi!
There is no currently way to have map staying when you stop play as unity recovers default serialized scene. I remember that there should be some option which allows you to modify assets during play and have them still changes when you press save but I never used this one. But it sounds like it may be something you may want to look for.
On the other hand if you want to have everything pregenerated and saved this way for further load, you would need to save baking results (textures) on your drive, which would result in saving fairly large number of textures (depend on your world size).
Cheers
