Hello for my usage I am extending Hex Honey. I am to the point I am doing some research/experiments on the shaders/terrain generation. I am thinking of generating a low poly mesh for the ground which would then be atlased in the shader. I would also generate a second mesh with a displacement shader specifically for moutain/river/coastlines (not all of my chunk require this second mesh). I also need to control coastlines more precisely.
Therefore I am checking on the shader (Hex honey 1 et 2wip) but I do need to change a lot for my experiments. At the same time, since last year you said you were going to provide an update for Hex Honey 2.
Do you think it will be possible to share even an apha version of Hex Honey 2?
That would greatly help in understanding how you modified the shader/terrain (for instance to store hex data in uv)

Honey 2 WIP which is provided in te honey package was my first try. I have done few more prototypes after that point but they never were as finished as this one and I have designed a "best approach" I want to take when making Honey 2 but honey 2 itself is not build yet, I will start putting it all together when our team would finish current project (Thea: The Awakening) and we will start prearations for sequel. We would need new honey for sequel so I would get then my full time devoted to this so it should be able to be developed in fairly short time. I do not feel comfortable sharing my unfinished prototypes as they are in most cases does not even "work" as they were designed to do some specific experiments and pressing "play" in most cases leads nowhere. They are not commented properly as well as the notes were collected separaterly for the purpose of the final collective project.
Honey 2 is delayed more than I would like it to at the moment, but I hope when it would show up it would rule the world XD

mrnop what are you trying to accomplish? LODs for the terrain? Also have you tried changing the mixer maps to control the coastline more?
